We document everything from the most formal events— like your vows and toast— to the sweet spur-of-the-moment laughs shared with friends and family. They are all fine threads that weave the memory of your wedding day together.
As your wedding videographer my goal is to remain candid and unnoticed to ensure that you enjoy your most precious day without constantly having to pose for a shot. All you have to do is create memories with those around you, enjoy off-the-charts happiness and I’ll help create a motion picture time-capsule that you can pause, rewind and replay for many years to come. HELLO!
I am Magdalena aka Nena, born and raised in the border-town of San Diego aka my-favorite-city-ever. I studied Television, Film and New Media, Chican@ Studies and completed a Translation and Interpretation certificate at SDSU. Since graduation, I have been working in the wonderful craft of storytelling via documentaries, short narratives, music videos and wedding videography.
My background as a documentary filmmaker has made me keen to the development of stories; of searching and finding that one element, that one line or crucial event that is the synthesis to the narrative. This practice is one I am intentional in applying to the wedding videos I create while keeping this notion present in shooting and editing.
Other things that make me happy? I enjoy creating things with my hands, urban gardening, biking, spending as much possible time with the lovely fam-bam and eating pretty much anything super super spicy (like really spicy, nothing can stop me).
